Crabs can be a symbol of rebirth, protection and prosperity. Due to their sideways walk some cultures say they remind us that not all paths are in a direct line. Xavier is a strong and successful crab. He beats the odds that are stacked against him. I drew him with lots of blues, a variety of patterns and pops of color.
