Axolotl, which are also known as �Mexican walking fish� are a salamander. What makes these salamanders so appealing is the fact that they maintain features from their larva state, like external gills and a fin. Axolotls are typically black or brown, but I chose to draw Levi as an albino. I used pale pinks and greys to help show the light-hearted, child-like nature of these endangered amphibians. I hope Levi�s grinning face and flowing fin help you enjoy the little things in everyday life.
