These insects are very unique, mainly due to their life cycles. Although there are cicadas that appear every year, some only appear every 13, or 17 years. This life cycle has led many cultures to see them as immortal or relate them to resurection and rebirth. I drew Lestari with the warm natural colors and painted the wings with watercolor.
